Welcome to LaundryPickUp! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our professional laundry services. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities when using our services.

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") are entered into by and between LaundryPickUp ("Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our") and the customer ("Customer", "you", or "your"). This Agreement governs your use of the laundry pickup, washing, folding, and delivery services ("Services") provided by LaundryPickUp in the Toronto GTA region.
By accessing and using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
LaundryPickUp offers comprehensive laundry services including but not limited to:
- Laundry pickup from your residential or commercial location
- Professional washing using premium detergents and fabric care products
- Careful drying at appropriate temperatures for different fabric types
- Meticulous folding according to industry standards
- Prompt delivery of cleaned laundry to your designated address
Our services are available exclusively within the Toronto GTA region, including downtown Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, and surrounding areas.
3. Account Registration
To use LaundryPickUp's services, you must register an account by providing accurate and complete information. The registration process requires:
- Full name and contact information
- Valid email address and phone number
- Physical address for pickup and delivery
- Preferred payment method details
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breaches.
4. Service Fees and Payment
Our transparent pricing structure is as follows:
- $1.29 per pound of laundry (minimum 10 pounds)
- $5.00 flat service fee for pickup and delivery
- Additional fees may apply for special handling requests or rush service
Payment must be made before or upon delivery of the laundry. We accept various payment methods including:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal and other digital payment platforms
- E-transfer for registered customers
You agree to pay all fees associated with the services rendered. Invoices will be sent electronically to your registered email address.
5. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent:
- You may cancel your scheduled pickup free of charge if you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours but more than 3 hours before the scheduled pickup will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the estimated service cost
- Cancellations made less than 3 hours before the scheduled pickup may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the estimated service cost
- No-shows without prior notice may be charged the full service minimum fee
To cancel or reschedule a pickup, please contact our customer service team or use the cancellation feature in your account dashboard.
6. Delivery and Pickup
LaundryPickUp will pick up and deliver laundry within the designated time slot agreed upon with the customer. Our standard pickup and delivery windows are typically 2-hour time slots.
While we strive to maintain punctuality, LaundryPickUp is not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen events such as:
- Severe weather conditions or natural disasters
- Unexpected traffic congestion or road closures
- Vehicle breakdowns or accidents
- Other force majeure events beyond our reasonable control
In the event of a delay, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated estimated time of arrival.
7. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the best possible service, customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring that the laundry is suitable for washing and that any specific cleaning instructions (e.g., delicate fabrics, stains) are communicated clearly
- Removing all items from pockets before pickup (LaundryPickUp is not responsible for damage caused by items left in pockets)
- Separating and identifying any garments that require special handling
- Informing LaundryPickUp about any valuable items that may be in their laundry, such as jewelry, money, or electronics
- Being available during the scheduled pickup and delivery windows or making alternative arrangements in advance
LaundryPickUp is not liable for any lost or damaged valuable items left in laundry bags. We recommend checking all pockets and removing any valuable or non-washable items before placing clothes in laundry bags.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
LaundryPickUp will make every reasonable effort to handle your laundry with care, but we are not responsible for:
- Damage due to normal wear and tear of fabrics
- Pre-existing damage or conditions not visible at the time of pickup
- Color bleeding, shrinkage, or damage to fabrics that are not suitable for machine washing
- Stubborn stains that cannot be removed through standard washing procedures
- Items left in pockets that may damage your laundry or our equipment
Our liability for proven negligence is limited to the cost of the affected garment, with consideration for its age and condition, up to a maximum of five times the service fee paid for that specific order.
LaundryPickUp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
LaundryPickUp values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. We collect and process your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. We will only use your data for the following purposes:
- Processing and delivering your laundry orders
- Managing your account and providing customer support
- Improving our services and business operations
- Sending service notifications and updates
- Marketing communications (with your consent)

10. Termination of Service
LaundryPickUp reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account or service if the customer violates the terms of this Agreement, including but not limited to:
- Providing false or misleading information
- Unauthorized use of the services
- Failure to comply with payment obligations
- Abusive or threatening behavior toward staff
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows
We may also terminate services due to service area changes, business restructuring, or other operational reasons, with reasonable notice provided to affected customers.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
LaundryPickUp reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will be effective immediately upon posting.
For substantial changes, we will provide notification via:
- Email to registered users
- Notice on our website homepage
- In-app notifications (if applicable)
Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about any changes.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Toronto, Ontario. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to proceedings in such courts.
